Ask who does each part.
Who evaluates you? Who prepares the teeth? Who designs or approves the final restorations? Who handles bite adjustments? A clinic may have multiple clinicians, so get names rather than assuming one person does everything.
Make the treatment plan specific.
- Proposed number of veneers
- Material
- Tooth preparation
- Any preliminary treatment
- Number of appointments and days
- Temporary restorations if relevant
- Final adjustments
- Aftercare and remake policy
Do not treat Instagram as a diagnostic tool.
Before-and-after photos can show a clinic’s aesthetic style, but they do not tell you whether the same plan is appropriate for your bite, enamel, gums or existing dental work.
Questions for international patients
Ask how the clinic handles an issue after you have returned home, whether written records and material information are provided, and who coordinates with a local dentist if follow-up is needed.
